OBSERVATION
These sketches and illustrations are rooted in direct observation, capturing people, places, and everyday moments from life. Through drawing on location and in the field, I explore the stories hidden in ordinary experiences and develop the visual vocabulary that informs the rest of my work. Everything in this section of my portfolio was drawn in one sitting on-site, or while in direct observation of the subject.
